Salvation
The Bible has the answers to salvation and eternal life. Everyone is a sinner and is separated from God.
Romans 3:23 “Everyone is a sinner and is separated from God.”
God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for us.
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Death means separation forever from God. Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
In order to being your new life (be saved), you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Savior.
Romans 10:9 “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
This is God’s promise to you–if you accpt Jesus, He will accept you.
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
You can accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior right now. Don’t wait. Here is a simple but powerful prayer you can pray:
“Dear God,
I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ, your one and only son. I believe that Jesus died for me to forgive me of my sins. I confess my sins. Forgive me of all my sins. Clean my dirty heart and make me a new person today. I believe that Jesus rose again and is coming back some day. I invite the Holy Spirit into my life to fill me up and give me the power to live for you, God. From this day forward I make Jesus Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you God that I have the promise of eternal life with you. You are my Heavenly Father and I have been adopted as your child into your family. In Jesus’ Name Amen.”
Now you have been adopted into God’s family! It’s very important that you find a good church to attend and fellowship with other believers in Jesus, find a Bible and starting reading it every day, and read pray every day bringing your needs before God and things to thank God about.
