Participate However You Can

The first semi truck is in the parking lot of Victory Church in Springdale, AR. The donations have begun to come in.  One of the gentlemen that was taking the donations for the container shared a very touching story on Sunday morning.  He said that a man drove up in an old beater car.  He was carrying a sack with goods to be donated for the victims in Haiti.  As he drove off, the gentleman taking the goods looked into the sack.  In the sack was one pair of old, worn shoes; one can of cherries; and one can of tomato soup…that’s it.  This man wanted to PARTICIPATE, and he gave what he could.  Make sure you take the time to ask God what you can give to the victims in Haiti.  It doesn’t have to be through Fuel International, but make sure that you’re giving to an organization that is going to meet the felt needs and share the Good News of Jesus Christ simultaneously.  Both are needed to change the soul and give hope of eternal life.  Our pastor shared a moving sermon on Sunday morning recapping the story above, sharing why we are helping Haiti, and challenged us all to PARTICIPATE.  You can watch the sermon from January 17 online.
